Our detent springs has been through rigorous testing in multiple. vehicles. The springs have been designed to increase shifting feeling and positive engagement. Extreme care was taken to ensure that there was not excessive pressure applied to the shift forks which could cause premature wear. Many other manufacturers overlook this critical point. The kit comes with and additional optional install spring. If you wish quick engagement for drag racing or roll racing, then install the 4th spring into the swing arm detent. This will allow the weight on the transmision swing arm to do more of the shift work for you without adding wear to the system.
