This is to bypass the clutch pedal using a momentary switch. On dry starts the clutch depression causes thrust washer inside the engine. If the thrust washer wears out it can damage an engine to the point beyond repair. Save your engine and keep it longer, especially if you have an upgraded clutch of any kind. The kit is essentially plug and play except for finding a place to mount the switch.
.There are multiple ECU’s for every year and some may not allow this switch to work without an additional system. If you want development to continue for all ECU versions, people will have to come here with their car for research.
