Thanks to new line design this product also works with the fuel system plus version of Hondata’s fuel system cam and new 1427 injectos.
This simple set up with our high pressure fuel line has shown a fuel pump duty cycle reduction of 20 to 25 percent allowing a significant gain in HP. The in tank pump is changed because the Hondata in tank pump starts to hit its limits nearing 500whp. The FK8 operates above 80 psi on the low pressure side and this tends to overheat the pump so switching to the Deatchwerks remedies this issue. The second thing is the high pressure line. Yes the Hondata one is better than stock but our FK8TD High Pressure Fuel Line upgrade takes it two steps further, Our proprietary bore size, smooth bore, and custom taper flows significantly more fuel without pressure losses. Now thanks to these changes the Injector duty cycle is lower because the injectors are now getting the fuel they need. How much is this worth??? How about and additional 20 to 30 whp on an ethanol blend without having to switch to an xdi pump.
Combine this with our tuning services and you have one last advantage. We know how to combat pressure control issue when the pump sees greater than 80 percent duty cycle above 6000 rpm. We don’t do just research on our products we do research on as many products as we can.
