Ruthenium is the next material in spark plugs. They not only handle heat better they are more conductive. This gives greater spark capability under high boost pressures. Also creates less strain on the ignition system. Often people go to a copper plug in order to get the great conductivity that a platinum or iridium electrode can’t provide but a copper plug wears out fast in comparison.
Another great thing about ruthenium is it last longer than iridium. Also these plugs have a unique design called PSPE on the ground strap. Projected Square Platinum Electrode. This design is specific for Turbo and supercharged applications. Higher fuel burn stability under high combustion pressures, more complete burn , smoother engine response, better spool, horsepower and longer lasting. There’s really no downside.

Torque the plug to 16ft lbs
